BARBARA PRICE, Councillor, Town of Comox
Barbara Price previously served from 2006 to 2008, as the Electoral Area representative on the AVICC Executive. After four terms as an Electoral Area Director on the Comox Valley Regional Board, Barbara ran for, and was elected to Comox Council in the recent elections. She comes with a broad background having also served as a Comox councillor from 1990 to 1993 and, previous to raising a family, worked as a Town Planner and has a Masters Degree in Town and Regional Planning. Barbara is a hardworking advocate for her community. She wants to bring her knowledge of local government, her leadership experience and her strong voice to the challenges facing all Vancouver Island and our mainland coastal communities.
