Former AVICC President Mary Marcotte stepped down as Electoral Area Director on the Cowichan Valley RD Board earlier this year. Mary served on the Board since 1997, including several terms as Chair. She also served on the AVICC Executive from 2008 to 2018. Mary was awarded a life membership at the 2019 AVICC Convention in Powell River in recognition of her contributions.
The Cedar community is organizing a drive-by in recognition of Mary’s 20+ years of service to the community as their representative.
