The AVICC received a response from MOTI to Resolution R8 on funding for Revitalization of Island Rail. Minister Trevena advised the Ministry is close to completing an “all-in” assessment to determine the costs associated with restoring rail service in the corridor, and provided a staff contact for updates on the assessment. The letter was forwarded to the resolution sponsor, the City of Victoria.
