Marketplace and Tradeshow

The 66th annual AGM and Convention of the Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities will be held in the Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Avenue, Courtenay on April 10-12, 2015.   In conjunction with the business program, a mini-marketplace & trade show is held in the Rotary Hall where refreshment break service for delegates will be incorporated. This is your organization’s opportunity to connect with over 200 delegates from 51 local governments on Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast, Powell River and the Central Coast.  The official opening of the Convention is at 2:00 p.m. on the Friday and will adjourn at noon on the Sunday.  Booths must be staffed between 1:00 p.m. Friday and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The $1,000 (+ $50 GST) cost per booth includes the opportunity to:
  • have a display booth for the Friday and Saturday of Convention;
  • include material in the delegate kits;
  • be acknowledged in the convention signage; and
  • one complementary delegate registration package which includes attendance at all business sessions and social events.
