The AVICC Executive is putting out a first call for resolutions to be considered at the 2024 convention. The convention is being planned as an in-person event to be held April 12-14, 2024 in Victoria at the Victoria Conference Centre. AVICC member local governments may now submit Board or Council endorsed resolutions following the requirements outlined in the attached call for resolutions.
The deadline for resolutions is 4:30pm on February 7, 2024. Please follow the guidelines to ensure resolutions are submitted that provide AVICC and UBCM with clear policy direction for advocacy. Sending in resolutions well ahead of the deadline is strongly encouraged to allow time to review submissions with the sponsoring local government.
