2026 Resolution Conveyances

All resolutions endorsed at the convention have been forwarded to UBCM. Most will be considered at convention; however, UBCM has indicated that several resolutions won’t be considered based on four criteria:

  • The resolution repeats existing policy (within the last 5 years);
  • The resolution is considered regional;
  • Out-of-scope for local government per UBCM; and/or
  • The resolution was poorly written (none from AVICC).

The AVICC Executive determined that any 2026 resolutions endorsed at AVICC excluded by UBCM because of these criteria would be conveyed to the Province by AVICC.
