Director at Large Sarah Fowler

2nd Vice President

Sarah Fowler

Sarah Fowler is a politician parent who has lived in the island communities of Courtenay, Parksville and finally made her home in Tahsis. Over the course of her first term as an elected council member she has received a level 1 certificate from the Local Government Leadership Academy. Being involved in both the Municipal Climate Innovation program and Compassionate Integrity Training has really informed her goals for multi solving and silo bridging.

Locally, she chairs the Tahsis Age-friendly accessibility committee, advocates for ride sharing and delivers for food security programs. Plus, she does an impression of a school bus, twice a day, on weekdays, otherwise enjoys gardening, hikes and birdwatching.

You can contact her sfowler@villageoftahisis.com if you’re curious about the funding fire coalitions, the book of poems, her #waterfowl podcast or other Green Antler Productions that are created at her family’s Discovery crescent homestead nursery.
