Resolutions Database and Communications

Resolutions Database & Communications

On behalf the AVICC Executive, thank you to all of you who attended the 2026 AVICC AGM & Convention in beautiful Victoria, provided feedback on the convention and advocacy priorities through the survey, crafted and submitted resolutions on priorities for your local government, and voted in the elections.

One of the items of feedback we heard is that you would like more communication from the AVICC Executive as well as opportunities to connect outside of the convention. As a result we will be sharing more opportunities for you to engage in learning, and will be sending out a summary of the Executive meetings.

AVICC Resolutions Database:

The AVICC Executive is pleased to announce that our Resolutions Database is now LIVE!  This database includes all resolutions submitted to AVICC from 2021-2025, as well as a clear path about results, conveyances, responses, and actions for each resolution. The 2026 Resolutions will be added following UBCM – the 2026 AVICC Resolutions Disposition can be found on our website.

Executive Meeting Summaries:

The AVICC Executive is pleased to share the following meeting summaries:

As always, it’s a balance between keeping members informed and not overwhelming your inbox. Please continue to provide feedback on how we’re doing, what you’re interested in hearing about, and providing information that you think would be of broader interest to our members. For example, is your local government holding a webinar on something of broad interest where you’d be open to having participation from across the AVICC region? Please send that information along and we’ll share it.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Theresa any time at info@avicc.ca, and she will be pleased to assist!
